ORDER SAMPLES Urchinite is a seasonal, regenerative material that are suitable for use as wall coverings, countertops, furniture, and more. Sample boxes will contain Urchinite samples made from the most recent season's sea urchin harvest with its latest colors, patterns, and finishes. Each box includes a seasonal selection of 5-8 Urchinite samples at 4” x 4” inches.
Choosing Urchinite biomarble means contributing to active kelp restoration projects. For every slab of 5’ x 8’ urchinite, 1,000 square foot of purple sea urchins are cleared for kelp restoration, enabling kelp forests to regrow and biodiversity to rebound. Production runs are seasonal and limited. Each sample box is made to order, so please allow 12-18 weeks for fulfillment beginning Summer 2026. Due to seasonality of colors and patterns, samples contained in the box will reflect this season's available offerings and may differ from images shown.
