Collection: Salt Orchid

Made with purple sea urchins harvested from Big River in Mendocino, California at The Nature Conservancy's kelp restoration site. Salt Orchid has faint lavender and light grey hues from the natural biocalcite minerals in purple sea urchin shells, with no added pigments. It has a smooth, modern aesthetic with subtle hints of its natural marine origin.

The Salt Orchid colorway has a medium high restoration impact:

• 3/8" thick slabs & wall tiles: 1 sqft of Urchinite  = 16 sqft of purple urchins are harvested for kelp recovery. 
• 3/4" thick slabs: 1 sqft of Urchinite = 32 sqft of purple urchins are harvested for kelp recovery.
