Season Milestones: Harvest Begins, Processing Site Secured, Sample Boxes Shipping
Share
We’re thrilled to share that our season’s efforts are officially underway in Mendocino, California, where our partners at The Nature Conservancy are harvesting purple sea urchins to restore kelp forests.

Our work was recently featured in Sunset Magazine, grab a copy at the store or take a look online!

We’ve also secured a processing site in Ukiah, CA to transform harvested urchins into our stunning colorways for the Urchinite 2026 Collection.
With overwhelming interest from contractors, designers and homeowners across the country, we’re gearing up for this summer’s pilot program and will soon ship out our newly designed sample boxes.

Lastly, we are gearing up for SF Climate Week where we will be part of several events between April 20 - 30. If you’re an architect or designer in the Bay Area, please consider RSVP'ing for an event we’re hosting at our office on April 22nd.
Stay tuned for prototype photos as we continue our work to restore kelp forest ecosystems through beautiful, precision-engineered materials for the built environment.
With gratitude,
The Marblis Team
